Chapter Thirty-One is the 31st chapter of the Kaiju No. 8 manga series.
Summary[]
Mina Ashiro's attack is successful in neutralizing the giant form of Kaiju No. 10. In the immediate aftermath, Mina assigns Soshiro Hoshina and Kikoru Shinomiya to rest after the battle. However, it is quickly revealed that Kaiju No. 10 had a final attack; a large After-Beast Bomb, that once detonated, would have enough force to wipe out the base, and most of the remaining officers. Seeing the dire situation, Kafka Hibino immediately races to a higher ground, revealing himself as Kaiju No. 8 to Mina and Hoshina, and prepares an attack to save the base.
