The Fourth Division (第4部隊, Dai Yon-butai)[1] one of the Eastern Divisions in the Defense Force, located in Matsumoto Base.[1]

The Fourth Division is a Defense Force squad active in the Nagano Prefecture. Their Captain Jugo Ogata is a very experienced and well-known soldier in the Defense Force, being recognized as the best expert in Numbers Weapons usage.

- Numbers Weapon 6: Officer Reno Ichikawa's weapon, marked EC-0115, the Defense Force's most powerful and dangerous Numbers Weapon. It's a unique combat suit with cryokinesis properties, forged from the corpse of Kaiju No. 6.[2]

Kaiju No. 8 Captured Arc[]
After the attack at Tachikawa Base, Reno Ichikawa and Iharu Furuhashi of the Third Division were transferred to the Fourth.
Kaiju Weapon Arc[]
After Director General Isao Shinomiya's death at the hands of Kaiju No. 9, the Fourth Division payed homage to him during the funeral.[1]
The Compatible User Arc[]
After the anti-No. 9 Eastern Divisional Conference, rookie Reno Ichikawa was decided as the next candidate for Kaiju No. 6's weapon[2]. Captain Jugo Ogata and the rest of the Fourth Division aided him in testing the suit and then, one month later, they aided Ichikawa in neutralizing a Mole-type 67 kaiju while testing his Numbers suit.[3]
