Hiroto Mori (
Appearance[]
Hiroto is a tall and lanky young man with a buzz cut, displaying a visible notch on his left side. His notable facial features are large eyes and straight teeth.[1]
While working, Hiroto wears the usual Monster Sweeper overalls.[1]

Hiroto seems to be a rather silent individual, despite still visually displaying his emotions.
Plot[]
The Man Who Became a Kaiju Arc[]
Hiroto and the rest of the guys at Monster Sweeper Inc. witnessed the Third Division's neutralization of Philinosoma in Yokohama. Then, he and the rest of his squad proceeded with the disposal of the Kaiju's corpse.[1]
He then discussed the appearance of Kaiju No. 8 with his colleagues.[3]
At some point a strange guy joined Monster Sweeper Inc., with nobody knowing he was secretly a shape-shifting Kaiju.[4]
Sagamihara Neutralization Operation at Daybreak Arc[]
Months later, after Kafka and Leno became members of the Defense Force, Hiroto and his colleagues followed up the battle against an enormous Fungal-type Kaiju and the Third Division. Then, upon watching the situation from a distance, they wondered where the newbie went.[5]
Later that day they were visited by Third Division Vice-Captain Soshiro Hoshina and Konomi Okonogi to discuss about their new worker Takamichi Hotaka and his strange behavior.[6]
Kaiju Weapon Arc[]
In the aftermath of the First Division's fight against Kaiju No. 9 and the Ant-type Kaiju in Shinagawa, Hiroto and the others at Monster Sweeper Inc. took care of the disposal of the various Ant-types present on the battlefield. As Hiroto and Ichitaka Mitsuike considered fleeing the country due to Kaiju No. 9's rampage, they were reprimanded by Masahide Tokuda for their cowardly behaviour.[7]
Cataclysms Arc[]
Hiroto and Ichitaka attended Toku's daughter, Chieko Tokuda's wedding when a Kaiju attacked.[8]
Etymology[]
- The family surname Mori has the kanji for "forest" (森, mori).
