Ikaruga (
Appearance[]
Ikaruga is a man of average height with messy short dark hair and a lightning-shaped notch in the middle of his forehead. He has big wild eyes with thin zigzagged eyebrows.
Personality[]
Ikaruga seems to be a serious and loud person, able to acknowledge someone's skills and support in battle and praising them when needed.
Plot[]
Sagamihara Subjugation Operation Arc[]
During the Sagamihara Subjugation Operation, Ikaruga led his platoon, counting Leno Ichikawa and Iharu Furuhashi, in battle.
Raid on Tachikawa Base Arc[]
While defending Tachikawa Base, Ikaruga was aided by Kafka Hibino, who instructed him on how to defeat wyvern-type kaiju, and led the soldiers at hand to hold back the monsters. He later witnessed as Kafka Hibino transformed into Kaiju No. 8 to save everyone from a Yoju-bomb.
Power & Abilities[]
Overall Abilities: As a Platoon Leader, Ikaruga is inferred to be a top-notch Officer of the Defense Force, able to take on multiple kaiju and guide his men in battle with determination.
Etymology[]
- The surname Ikaruga contains the kanji for "rash, spots, unevenness, irregularity, speckles/speckled, inconsistency, mottled" (斑) and "pigeon, dove" (鳩).
