Jura Igarashi (
Appearance[]
Jura is a very tall and muscular woman with long pink hair styled into a ponytail and thin lightning bolt-shaped eyebrows above purple eyes. She usually displays an angry and determined look on her face, often showing her teeth with braces.[3]
Personality[]
Jura is a serious and short-tempered individual, getting easily disturbed and angry when her colleagues take it easy while on-duty.[3]
History[]
At some point, Jura became the captain of the Second Division.

Kaiju No. 8 Captured Arc[]
After the Raid at Tachikawa Base, Jura welcomed Aoi Kaguragi and Haruichi Izumo into her division.
The Kaiju Weapon Arc[]
After Isao Shinomiya's death at the hands of Kaiju No. 9, Jura and the rest of the Second Division paid homage to the deceased director general during his funeral.[4]
The Compatible User Arc[]
During the Anti-No. 9 Eastern Divisional Conference, Jura and the other division captains heard the information Third Division vice-captain Soshiro Hoshina obtained by Kaiju No. 10.[3]

Overall Abilities: Jura is the captain of the Second Division of the Defense Force, and she is implied to be a powerful combatant.
Etymology[]
- Jura's surname Igarashi means "fifty" (五十, ig) and "storm, tempest" (嵐, arashi).
Trivia[]
- In Chapter 1, after saving Reno Ichikawa and Kafka Hibino, Third Division Captain Mina Ashiro addressed one of her subordinates as Igarashi (
五 十 嵐 , Igarashi). Considering the kanji in her name is the same as Jura's, it's implied that Jura has a relative serving in the Third Division.[5]- It was later revealed that that officer is Hakua Igarashi, Jura's younger sister.[2]
- Jura likes cats and rugby.[1]
- Jura greatly admires Mina Ashiro, hence why she suggested Hakua to join the Third Division instead of the Second Division.[1]
